Azok az emberek, akik azonos irányba tartanak és közösséget alkotnak,
gyorsabban jutnak el céljukhoz, mint azok, akik teljesen egyedül próbálják meg azt.
El tudjuk-e képzelni, hogy együttműködünk valakivel és közben versenyzünk is vele? Első nekifutásra nehezen. Pedig a sportban elég sokszor találkozhatunk ilyen helyzettel. Például egy olimpiai csapat tagjai közösen érhetnek el eredményeket, de egyéni teljesítményeiket is értékelik. Ők csapatként együttműködnek a közös eredményért, de egyénileg mindenki versenyben van a csapattársával is.
A böngészője lehet, hogy nem képes ezt a képet megjeleníteni. A gazdasági életben is lehetséges az együttműködve versenyzés. A lehetséges formát klaszternek hívják. Alapja a kölcsönös tisztelet és bizalom, hogy a kapcsolat hosszú távon működőképes legyen. Az Európai Unióban ezen együttműködési formát kiemelt támogatás segíti, mivel már gyakorlatban is bizonyította, hogy jelentős többlet profithoz juttatja a szereplőket az egyénileg elérhetőhöz képest. A klaszterben a közös célok, közös elérésén fáradoznak a résztvevők. Ezzel kihasználva a hálózat adta plusz lehetőségeket a közösség és az egyén számára. A kooperáció, a nyitottság, és az elkötelezettség működteti a klaszterhez csatlakozott gazdasági szereplőket.
Az Európai Bizottság Vállalkozási Főigazgatóság vállalkozási klaszter definíciója: „A klaszter olyan egymástól kölcsönösen függő vállalatok és kapcsolódó intézmények csoportja, amelyek együttműködők és versenyzők; földrajzilag egy vagy több régióban koncentrálódnak; meghatározott területre/ágazatra koncentrálnak, közös technológiák és képességek kötik őket össze; tudományos alapúak vagy hagyományosak; még intézményesülés előtt állók vagy már intézményesültek.”
Kívánom, hogy minél többen megtapasztalhassuk az együttműködésben rejlő többlet energiákat, saját magunk és közösségünk javára.
